Today we are looking at several ways the New Age is enticing women of faith away from the truth of God’s Word. It starts out innocently enough…we are attracted to books written by women who appear to be well-grounded in the Word. But we end up delighting in poetic, romantic prose that can fall into the categories of Panentheism and Pantheism. What is the difference? And why do we fall for these? One reason is because as a population, today’s Christians are largely illiterate when it comes to the study of God’s Word. Another is the increase of emotionalism and experiences which are often held up on level (in some cases higher) than the truth of Scripture.
In Segment 2, we’re scooting up our chairs for our Bible study in 2 Samuel, with our Bible study teacher Beth Seifert. Be sure to download the notes in our Bible study tab on the menu. If you’d like to join the table and connect with us, check out our FaceBook page! You can also send us an email at Connect@Naomistable.com. And ladies, if you head over to our website, you’ll find information on how to join women around the world at our Google+ Community Page, where we are making friends and talking about what the Bible has to say about the topics we cover here at the Table.
