What is church, and who is it for?

Screen Shot 2015-07-08 at 8.02.38 PMThe Bible has a lot to say about “the Church.” Do we need to make a distinction between the professing church in post-modern times and the true Bride of Christ? The Bride knows that the fellowship is for believers who come together to learn about and love the Lord, and love and care for one another. The modern church casts a wide net for anyone seeking, and often is about pleasing the customer rather than pleasing God.

How do we know we truly are walking in the light as children of God? What if we only think we’re saved?  In Segment 2, Teacher Lori Williams takes us through 1 John to help you discern your assurance in Christ. Be sure to download the separate podcast and the notes in our Bible study tab on the menu.
