One of the most sorrowful words we’ve heard in the Bible is the word “repentance.” Jesus used that word a lot, and so did the New Testament church. But in our culture, that word is often seen as too harsh, or not popular. And so many churches do not talk about the R word. Today we’re putting it back in perspective to understand what it is, what it is not, and why this gift is so precious to Christians throughout the ages!
