It’s Friday, and we are revisiting a conversation we had with a very wise woman. Are you a wise woman? We often ask what biblical wisdom looks like, and there are a couple of schools of thought about Biblical womanhood. On the one hand, you’ve got Big Words like Complementarianism, and the opposite: Egalitarianism. What do these isms mean? Today we sit down with Mary Kassian, author of Girls Gone Wise and The Feminist Mistake. If you are not familiar with Mary, she is a distinguished professor of women’s studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and a leading voice in the discussion about what biblical womanhood is really all about. Check out her Girls Gone Wise website.
In Segment 2, we’re scooting up our chairs for our Bible study in 2 Samuel, with our Bible study teacher Beth Seifert. Be sure to download the notes in our Bible study tab on the menu. If you’d like to join the table and connect with us, check out our FaceBook page! You can also send us an email at Connect@Naomistable.com. And ladies, if you head over to our website, you’ll find information on how to join women around the world at our Google+ Community Page, where we are making friends and talking about what the Bible has to say about the topics we cover here at the Table.
